A fragment of a multiple prayer rug (saf) from the Kashgar oasis. The surviving section consists of four mihrab fields which are still connected and show three different types of interior drawing on a green, red, dark blue and another red ground. Signs of age and wear, old repairs and missing areas, the vertical outer border on the right has been repiled. Mounted onto canvas. Estimate EUR 5,800.
