Antique rugs and textiles at the Motel Capri

Category: Fairs and conferences

Motel Capri will also in February 2013 be an informal scene for trade with antique rugs and textiles during Caskey Lees Tribal & Textile Arts Show in San Francisco 7-10 February. This small “Capri mini-fair” with a group of up to 10 antique rug dealers has been an annual recurring event in February for more than a decade.

James Cohen, a renowned and frequent exhibitor at most International antique rug fairs, has confirmed that he will be at the Capri 7-10 February.

“I will also be there and several others will be there too” said Bertram Frauenknecht to Jozan Magazine.

“Actually this informal Capri event was where we got the inspiration for the Antique Rug & Textile Show”  said Bertram Frauenknecht on an earlier occasion to Jozan Magazine. Bertram was, together with the main organizer Michael Craycraft, one of the inspirators and organizers of the first ARTS in October 2009.

Location: Motel Capri, 2015 Greenwich Street, San Francisco
