Bonhams Skinner will hold its online auction “Antique Rugs and Textiles” from August 4 to August 14, 2025, ending at 13:00 EDT on the final day. The sale includes antique room-size carpets and collectible rugs from the Middle East, India, China, Europe, and the Caucasus. Lot 28 – Bonhams Skinner A Significant Axminster Carpet England 22 ft. x 44 ft. 6 in. c. 1810, Thomas Whitty’s carpet workshop, established in Axminster in 1755, reached its zenith in the period 1765-1790. Estimate US$10,000 – US$15,000.

Lot 1 – Bonhams Skinner Early Shirvan Long Rug 4 ft 1 in x 9 ft 6 in. Dated either 1827 or 1839. Estimate US$10,000 – US$15,000.

Lot 11 – Bonhams Skinner Ushak Carpet Anatolia. 11 ft. x 11 ft. 5 in. c. 1880. Estimate US$8,000 – US$10,000
