Udo Langauer, a well know and esteemed antique rug dealer from Vienna, has just announced his new company Austria Auction Company. AAC’s inaugural antique rugs and kilims auction will take place 21 September 2013 in Vienna.

“Founding an auction house has been my goal for some time.  I was able to realize this dream when I had the good fortune to acquire a large inventory of rare and splendid antique oriental rugs from a gentleman who had been in the business for more than forty years” said Udo Langauer to Jozan Magazine and continued “I will be a full-service auctioneer providing the same high quality advice that I have given my clients since I started as an oriental rug dealer in 1983. My goal is to represent each lot as if it were my own and to work closely with both buyers and sellers to make their experience as satisfying as possible”.

The auction 21 September 2013 will include some 200 fine antique rugs and kilims and will take place at Novomatic Forum, Friedrichstraße 7, 1010 Wien. All the lots can be found online in the auction catalogue.

The preview exhibition will be open for the public Wednesday 18 September from 12.00 – 20.00, Thursday 19 September from 9.00 – 20.00, Friday 20 September 9.00 – 20.00 and on the auction day Saturday 21 September from 9.00 – 16.00. The auction itself starts 16.00.
