The 29th annual meeting of German Friends of Turkmen Rugs (Freunde Turkmenischer Teppiche) will take place 3-5 October 2008 in the Baseler Hof Hotel, Hamburg.Concurrent with the annual meeting there will be a exhibition with special focus on Turkmen asmalyks in Galerie M. Tehrani. This exhibition will open 4 October and run until 31 October 2008.
There will also be a presentation of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe and held a lecture 5 October in the museum on the Ardabil Carpet by Reinhard Grünzner and Siawosch Ulrich Azadi.
