Schuler Auction, Zurich, will hold their next auction “Carpets, Textiles, Fashion Accessories, Jewellery” including oriental rugs and carpets 10 September 2012. The oriental rugs and carpets are the first lots and the auction starts at 9.00 am.
Their preview exhibition is open Saturday and Sunday 1-2 September from 10.30 am – 6.00 pm and Monday and Tuesday 3-4 September from 10.30 am – 7.00 pm.
The carpet session includes 118 rugs, carpets and textiles. Many of the rugs are from the beginning and first quarter of the 20th century including Caucasian, Persian, Turkmen and Anatolian rugs  but also newer Persian rugs from 1960-1980 are represented.
