The ongoing Sartirana Textile Show in Sartirana near Milano includes a lot of highly interesting antique pieces and if you have not visited the show yet, there is still a couple of days left. The show is open for the public Saturday 15 September between 10 am – 11 pm and on Sunday 16 September between 10 am – 8 pm.
Among the treassures are very old 16-17th Anatolian carpets and fragments, exclusive antique Persian carpets, and of course a broad collection of antique Caucasian and Turkoman tribal pieces. And not to forget, some of Europe’s most experienced and esteemed antique rug dealers.
