ICOC Istanbul April 2007

Press release ICOC Istanbul:

Dear Friends, Colleagues and Dealers,

Plans for the International Conference on Oriental Carpets (ICOC) that will be held in Istanbul are now in place, and April 2007 will be here sooner than you think! The ICOC-Istanbul website is now up and running. It is full of exciting information on dates, places, conference schedules and activities, exhibitions, tours and much more. The website has just been updated with some important conference information:
-The Call for Papers is available and soliciting proposed academic papers.
-Online conference registration is in place. Please remember that you must be registered for the conference to sign-up for the tours, and the conference fee for Early Registration is substantially lower than the regular registration fee.
-The ICOC has established a carpet conservation fund for the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts (TIEM) in Istanbul. Please see the details of this worthy fund on the website.
