Nagel’s specialist auction “Rugs & Carpets, Ethnographic Art” will take place 11 September 2012 in Stuttgart. The viewing exhibition is open 8-10 September 11am to 6pm and 11 September 9am to 12am. The auction itself starts 11 September at 3pm. The first 269 lots are Oriental rugs and antique rugs, carpets and textiles and a few rug books. The rest of the auction lots are ethnographic art.
This auction includes rugs from all major rug producing areas. Antique Persian rugs, Anatolian, Caucasian, Turkoman and Chinese rugs can all be found in this auction. The carpet estimates range from 200 EUR to 15.000 EUR.
