Modern artisan handmade carpets will be featured during the New York International Carpet Show, 9 September through 11 September 2012 in Manhattan.
“The 8th annual New York International Carpet Show will present stunning new collections that are sure to attract lots of attention in the marketplace” said Dennis Dodds, architect and owner of the show, to Jozan Magazine.
NYICS is a boutique trade show for handmade carpets. A special reception for buyers, interior designers and architects will be a part of the show which also includes an event exclusively for NYICS exhibitors.
First-time exhibitors at NYICS during Fall Market Week include Obeetee, Gary Cruz Studio, Amici, Tibet Rug Company, Concepts International, Revita, Aminco, and Endless Knot.
Obeetee Inc. will feature a number of new additions to its Kuba, Relic and Epoch lines, launched in January 2012 and their Rubi collection will be expanded with new color combinations for fall 2012. Obeetee will also showcase a new range of transitional and contemporary designs as part of its new Tibetan collection from Nepal.
