Bijar Exhibition in Seattle USA March 2004

An exhibition of Bijar weavings is currently planned to coincide with the forthcoming ACOR in Seattle.

The exhibition will be hosted by Ferdod Haghighi, who has donated exhibition space in Seattle's Pioneer Square for this event, and the local ACOR organizing committee chaired by Fred Ingram.

The exhibition will be curated by Michael Wendorf, a well known collector/scholar of Kurdish weavings. Mr. Wendorf currently plans to draw on primarily west coast collections for this exhibition.
