DESCRIPTION: Lovely bagface of NW Persian or Veramin origin. It has Kurdish/Shahsavan characteristics from that area.
All natural colors are rich, soft, and harmonious, and consist of reds, salmon, blue green, medium blue, light medium blue, straw, dark brown, a beautiful dark mauve, and ivory.
The wool is thick and springy. It has full pile throughout and perfect original condition except the missing left side and bottom minor borders. No repairs. The handle is soft but firm.
Light brown and ivory wool warps Z3S strongly depressed. Mostly wool wefts in ivory, dark grayish blue, and brown 2 shoots. Symmetric knot pulled to the left.
Clean and ready for display. A very nice piece with a wonderful design.
Size is 50cm x 55cm or 19.5in x 21.5in.
