DESCRIPTION: An authentic and very attractive large fragment of the classic Kazak "Triple Medallion" classification.
This example has spacious proportions and old rich colors. The deep red background is decorated in powerful classic motifs. All natural colors include deep red, indigo, green, blue green, straw gold, light and dark aubergine, white, and dark brown.
Condition is fragmentary with aproximately 50cm or 20in of the bottom end missing. There are 3 small finger tip holes. The ends have been secured and stitched with a reinforcing ribbon. It is in otherwise original condition with no repiling.
This rug has just been washed and is suitable for use on the floor. A great way to add historic depth to your decor.
Size is 165cm x 177cm or 5ft 5in x 5ft 10in.
