Asymmetric knot open left, partial warp depression. Side wrapping not original but in near full pile throughout. Condition and rings sewn on top end indicated that this chuval has spent a great deal of it's life hanging on a wall. Triangle pattern seen in gul centers are a feature of Ali Eli weavings; neighbors to this branch of the Salor on the lower Amu Darya.
