DESCRIPTION OF DESIGN & HISTORY:
This carpet is made of wool on cotton in natural dye colours of dark blue, red, cream, pink, saffron, sky blue and green. This rug is a good example of the Bibikabad Hamedan design with the typical herati field which certifies its originality. The deep blue field is a larger replica of the cream medallion. If the medallion is divided into 4 quarters it will fit the corners of the field perfectly. It is completed by a delightful cream frame of roses and palmettes.
This fine carpet is for investment and collection and can be displayed on the wall.
