Oushak ? Size: 6'7" X 8'11"' Age: approximately 125 - 150 years old Wool. Tightly spun. Slit tapestry weave. Reversible.. In this kilim we see the colors of early pile rugs of Oushak, here all from beautiful natural dyes of ochre, gold and turquoise, greens and white. There is a possibility that it was woven in Manastir. The meander border displays trefoils at its ends and lath hooks at its sides. A collector's rug to be preserved.
