DESCRIPTION: 4.9x7.8 (ft&in)Tehran rug, hand knotted wool, Iran, early 20thC, A very high end piece that looks similar to Kerman rugs, but is signed Iran-Tehran. Wine reds, sky blues, golden tans, rows of carnation bouquets fill the field, birds and animals in the border. Not a thick rug but never was.
