Dorotheum next specialist carpet auction “Oriental Carpets, Textiles and Tapestries” will take place at Palais Dorotheum 26 September 2012 in Vienna. Their viewing exhibition will be open for the public  19-26 September and the auction itself begins Wednesday 26 September at 14.00.
This auction looks promising and includes a broad range of both tribal and decorative antique rugs and carpets, kilims, textiles and tapestries. It should also be noted that this auction includes many highly collectible Anatolian rugs.
Lot 146, an Anatolian Karapinar ca. 220 x 143 cm, first half 19th century. Estimate 6,000 - 8,000 EUR
Lot 163, an Anatolian Dösemealti, ca. 150 x 115 cm, end of 19th century. Estimate 1,500 - 2,000 EUR
Lot 168, Igdir ensi, West Turkestan, mid 19th century. Size 164 x 135 cm. Estimate 7,000 - 9,000 EUR
Lot 176, Sarouk Feraghan, West Persia end 19th century. Size 152 x 107 cm. Estimate 4,000 - 5,000 EUR
