detail of a rare and complete Yomud main carpet ca 1860. This secondary gul is found on only two other carpets (one in the de Young museum San Francisco )neither of which have c-gul centres to the main gul. I will be exhibiting this carpet exclusively at the ARTS show in October.
ps i have just received a detail of the de Young museum carpet and it has a different secondary gul making this one of only 2 known with this secondary gul, ARTS 2009 exhibitor Andy Lloyd
