Bonhams auction Period Design including Oriental rugs and carpets will take place 19 June 2012 at 12.30 pm in London. This auction includes furniture, rugs & carpets, sculpture, works of art and clocks. The carpet session is starting with lot 200 and includes 66 carpets and rugs.

Most of the offered rugs are from the 20th century and many of them are Persian rugs. The price range is between 300-2.000 GBP giving the common collector the possibility to buy a rug for interior decorating.
