DESCRIPTION: Eastern Anatolia. Third quarter, 19th century. Wool.  32"x 53½"

Wide decorative bands of reciprocal brocading; narrow white bands
with overlay-underlay brocading.  It is uncertain whether this
was made as a small kilim or perhaps as a storage sack face. 
It is in very good condition, with surface abrasion in the narrow
bands.
