DESCRIPTION: This circa 1930 Art Deco Chinese rug measures 8 ‘ 10” x 11’ 9 “ (274 X362 cm). It has a strawberry red to dusty rose ground with a five toed dragon in ivory and two shades of blue coming out of a rockery and it has a tree motif in each corner. There are bats with flower branches in the field with large blue and white clouds. There is a large ivory incense burner at each end of the center of the field with puffs of blue smoke. The top and bottom of the field contains a green rockery with a lovely flowering tree in blue, ivory, and black. A wave motif border or surrounds the rug. There is a small re woven area the size of my palm. The rug is in very good condition and has only a few white knots as seen in the image. This rug is 99% full pile, and has very lustrous and fine wool. The ends and sides are complete. The rug is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance.
