3ft.8in. 2.29m. x 1.12m. £3200-3500
Condition report: Slight wear in places. Several
of the 'filler' motifs are unusual, particularly the peacock-like birds.

Woolley & Wallis description and estimate: Lot 367 - A good Genje
rug, south Caucasus second half 19th century, 6ft.4in. x 3ft.11in. 1.93m.
x 1.20m. £1500-2000
Condition report: Very slight even wear, small number of tiny reweaves,
both ends rewoven, aubergine coloured areas very slightly corroded. Rugs
of this design are often attributed to the Shahsavan tribe; however, an
attribution to the Azeri of Karabakh is also possible.

village rug, probably west Anatolia second half 19th century, 6ft.6in. x
4ft.4in. 1.98m. x 1.32m. £380-420.
Condition report: Slight overall wear, brown
slightly corroded, kink repaired top centre, slight losses both ends,
small damaged areas.
