The first International conference on Kyrgyz carpets and textiles will
be in September 2002 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. On the day of arrival August 31. visitors can attend the opening of a special
exhibition of Kyrgyz carpets and textiles.
On the conference 1.-2. September
selected speakers will present research
papers on the Kyrgyz weaving culture. See the speaker list in
