Rug weaving workshop in New York

Oltaci, master craftsman and restorer of Oriental rugs, has
introduced a beginner's rug weaving workshop in New York in cooperation
with assistant organizer Kim Yacoubian.
From Hayk Oltaci's atelier on Lexington Avenue, arts & crafts lovers
are introduced to the ABCs of rug weaving, including vertical weaving techniques
(knotting, warp, weft) and the beginnings of design.
Four lessons were held in January 2008 and more lessons will follow.
