Tschebull Antique Carpet Collection - Grogan auction

The Tschebull Collection of 200 antique carpets was on sale 5 May 2008
at Grogan & Company, Dedham, Massachusetts.
More than 80 % of the carpets were sold and this is a very good result in
this market.
Grogan & Company has just
released the result
list. One of the auction highlights was a late 19th century Serapi,
lot no. 116, with an estimate of 12,000 - 15,000 $. This excellent carpet
was sold for 18,975 $. Another great looking Serapi carpet, lot
no. 32, was sold for 8,050 $.
