16th Persian Carpet Grand Exhibition 2007 in Tehran
 The
Persian Carpet Grand Exhibition this year will take place 23-29
August 2007 in Tehran at the Tehran Permanent Fair Ground.
The exhibition will focus on the export and foreign sales aspects
of Iranian carpets. Around 400 exhibitors from all parts of Iran
will participate with different styles of Persian rugs and kilims -
village, tribal and city workshop carpets and rugs will be on
display. As a part of the program for this fair there will be weaving workshops and scholarly forums
to attend.
"The National Carpet Center of Iran, affiliated to the Ministry of Commerce is
organizer of the exhibition. The Iranian Carpet Exporters' Association, of which I am a board member, is helping them",
says Dr. Khosrow Sobhe to Jozan Magazine.
