Tribal Bags of South Persia - exhibition and lecture at ACOR 8

The exhibition of Tribal bags of South Persia included bags and rugs
from the collections of Ann Nicholas and Richard Blumenthal and photos
from tribal life.
Most of the bags where knotted pile and included
Afshar, Qashqai, Khamseh and Luri works.
Ann and Richard also held an interesting lecture about
the topic on the ACOR Focus Session Saturday April 22th. The combination
of pictures from tribal life and bags was very interesting. (read a synopsis
